New Year – New Destinations

OK folks, 2023 is looking great for you to get out there and Explore Your World in new and different ways. The demand for choice vacation spots is high so booking early is essential to get the place you really want. Most restrictions on travel have been lifted, just remember to take safety for yourself and others seriously and be responsible. If someone looks uncomfortable being close to you don't take it personally and understand you have not walked in their shoes. Be respectful of their desires.

Cruising has returned with virtually all cruise lines back to full schedules. Many new ships are being introduced over the next couple years and if you want to book them, do it early. Travel within the US has also increased and there are many places in our own backyard that must be seen. Focus trips on food, music, and historic sites is increasing. The wonder of Antarctica is drawing more and more adventure minded people to that unique experience.

More and more people are getting places on their bucket list checked off. Once you start to be less active those places will become a greater challenge to visit. Make this year the one where those places are experienced while you still have the energy.

I will be 70 next year and have just earned my Advanced Open Water SCUBA certification through the PADI program at Sandals Negril. I highly recommend Triston Trail as an excellent trainer. I share this because it is never too late to pursue your goals.
